MISSION


- Ensuring business continuity and the harmonious development of the respective industrial chain in compliance with the principles of social responsibility and sustainable development, meeting the expectations of stakeholders, namely Shin-Etsu, customers, employees and the local community.


VISION


- To be a leader in the production and marketing of PVC resins in the Iberian market, developing and consolidating market shares in other countries, as an integral part of the European pillar of Shin-Etsu's development strategy. Within the context of Shin-Etsu, CIRES covers the different ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) aspects in its short, medium and long-term strategic objectives.

Integrated Management System


he company promotes the external recognition of its management processes by accredited independent bodies in compliance with international standards.


It has held ISO 9001 Quality Certification since 1993, ISO 14001 Environmental Certification since 2002, and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Certification since 2008, subsequently transitioning to ISO 45001 certification in October 2019.


In June 2021, CIRES obtained the Operation Clean Sweep (OCS) certification, becoming the first company in Portugal and the first PVC producer in Europe to obtain this certificate.


Actively contributing to the development of the bioeconomy and circularity, CIRES obtained ISCC PLUS certification in April 2022, now adding the LiteVin VICIR® range to its product offering.


In May 2026, the company obtained international certification in accordance with ISO 50001:2018, a milestone that reflects its ongoing commitment to energy efficiency and to the forefront of industrial sustainability. This certification formally validates the implementation of a robust Energy Management System (EnMS) aligned with global best practices.
